I just heard that Obama has said that Israel is using too much force on the murdering stabbers in Jerusalem, or words to that effect.
BUT, clearly Israel is not using enough force, if we're talking about force, because the stabbings and such are continuing. The correct amount of force used should be the amount needed to stop it - completely. In a normal western country where children are raised in a normal way, the thought of stabbing a perfect stranger is looked upon with horror and condemnation. In fact, it's a moral outrage, and someone who does this is shunned by society. A child behaving in such a way is even worse, and even other children will see such a person as an outcast, crazy, beyond the pale. But in Palestinian Arab society, children are marinated in a blood lust for Jews. They are absolutely brainwashed into anti-Semitic racism. So, the correct amount of force would be to use enough force to counter the force behind the blood lust, which is total, i.e., enough force to dissuade someone who feels completely driven to hurt Jews not to ever dare act on it, even though that person is just dying to. That would be "proportionate." If a person is not dissuaded by the prospect of his/her own death, then the ante is upped to include that person's, family, friends, society. I know that sounds cold, in fact it is, but that would be the correct amount of force. And it's been proven throughout history as the way to stop aggression by means of force (as opposed to diplomacy). You have to get the other guy to stop. That's war. The Arabs are at war with the Jews. For them it's a zero sum game.

And, BTW, screw Martin Fletcher and MSNBC. I didn't find his excuses for Arab violence, or his phony boloney "history" lesson amusing.
For those of you who didn't see, he and his MSNBC host used the notorious lying map of Palestine. The one that starts with "here's Palestine in 1922." It seems to me that from that point on they're moving in the wrong direction. The next panel should be "here's Palestine in 1920," and from there "here's Palestine in 1914, whoops, where'd it go?"

    1. The pattern is always the same.

The Palestinian-Arabs set their knives to Jewish throats at the behest of their leadership and much of the rest of the Arab world.

However, as soon as Israeli-Jews fight back they are ordered to stand down by the likes of Barack Obama who tells the world that the Jews are using excessive force.
